Prices exclude the item customs surcharges (see the two surcharge tables above). There is no remote-area fee.

Insurance & claims

Weight and size limits

  • Up to 100 kg per delivery address; for larger volumes 43 Logistics splits the shipment.
  • Maximum 23 kg per parcel; heavier parcels must be split.
  • Orders of 2 or more boxes: each box must weigh over 12 kg, otherwise the under-12 kg price applies.
  • Maximum size 100 × 60 × 60 cm; minimum 15 × 15 × 10 cm. Oversized cargo is not accepted yet.
  • Parcels under 150 EUR are exempt from import duty.
  • Machinery, motors, high-value or unusual goods: ask first.

Customs and delivery time

  • Delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed.
  • Customs may hold a parcel for 1–3 months; there is no compensation during that time.
  • Customs may charge high-value goods directly. If you decline and ask for the goods back, you pay the air freight and the release fee.
  • Declare the exact weight of surcharged goods on the invoice.
  • If a second clearance is refused: goods returned to the warehouse are redelivered for a fee; destroyed or lost goods are not compensated.
  • Wrong address: the parcel is returned for a fee and is not compensated.

Compensation

  • If a mistake by 43 Logistics stops delivery: 160,000 VND/kg (shipping and goods), not the goods' value.
  • EU customs hold, documents provided but the parcel is still destroyed: 120,000 VND/kg, up to 110 USD per bill.
  • EU customs hold, documents not provided: 130,000 VND/kg, up to 110 USD per bill, no shipping refund.
  • Lost in full before the tracking number updates: settled within 30 days; 100% shipping refund + 140,000 VND/kg, up to 100 USD per bill, for the lost parcels only.
  • Lost by the delivery carrier in Europe: 140,000 VND/kg, up to 120 USD per bill, no shipping refund. A parcel marked "delivered" but not received: claim within 3 days.
  • Returned parcels (no one to receive…) older than 45 days, or lost: 50,000 VND/kg.
  • Goods spoiled by a long transit: 15–20% off the shipping fee; not when customs hold the goods, in force majeure or the year-end backlog.

Not compensated

  • Confiscated meat, eggs, milk, counterfeit goods, dried fish, liquid foods (soy sauce, fish sauce, sauces), medicine, supplements, bird's nest, powders and strong-smelling food: no shipping refund and no compensation. A parcel that contains any of them is not compensated, regular goods included.
  • Hidden bird's nest that is confiscated: no support.
  • Breakage or dents from impact: not compensated. Fragile goods need a signed commitment.
  • Expired, mouldy or damp food: not compensated. Force majeure (war, natural disasters…): no liability.

  • Actual weight: what the parcel weighs on our scale.
  • Volumetric weight = Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 5000.
  • You pay for whichever is higher: the actual or the volumetric weight.
  • The chargeable weight is rounded up in steps of 0.5 kg.

Which goods can't be shipped to Europe?

Goods prohibited by 43 Logistics and by the destination country can't be shipped; see the Prohibited items page on this website. Surcharged items are listed in the rate card; ask 43 Logistics before sending special goods.

What happens if my parcel is lost?

Compensation and claim conditions are in the Insurance & claims section of each rate card. Record a video when you open the parcel as evidence for a claim.
