Privacy policy

This policy explains how AV Logistics collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use avlogistics.vn and our shipping services. It follows Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 91/2025/QH15) and Decree 13/2023/ND-CP.

Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through avlogistics.vn is AV Logistics Import Export Trading Services Company Limited (tax code 0402317649, 20 Tu Quy, Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang). The data is stored and processed on a management system AV Logistics shares with 43 Logistics; staff of both companies may access it to contact you, quote and serve you for the purposes set out in this policy.

What we collect

• When you send a quote request: your name, phone number, email (if you enter one), route, estimated weight, type of goods and your message.
• When you tap Zalo, Call, WhatsApp or Messenger on the website: the channel, the page you were on, the time, your browser and a one-way hash of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address.
• Ad campaign identifiers (such as an ad click ID) are stored only if you allow advertising cookies.
• When you ship with us: sender, recipient and goods details needed for transport and customs declarations.

How we use it

• To contact you, advise you and send the quote you asked for.
• To receive, ship, declare and deliver your goods.
• For customer care, complaints and claims.
• To count contact requests and improve our service (not to identify individuals).
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

Legal basis and consent

The quote form is sent only after you tick the box agreeing to this policy. Shipping data is processed to deliver the service you asked for. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Your rights).

Sharing

We share data only as far as needed with:

• Carriers and customs authorities in Vietnam and the destination country, to ship and clear your goods.
• Technical providers for the website: hosting and the database (located in Singapore), spam protection for forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) and the internal channel that notifies our sales staff.
• Competent authorities when the law requires it.

Because our database server is in Singapore, your data is transferred abroad for storage, only for the purposes above.

Cookies and third-party content

• The website uses analytics or advertising cookies only after you agree.
• The contact page embeds Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies under Google's own policy.

How long we keep data

We keep data only as long as the purposes above require, or as long as the law requires. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• know what data of yours is processed and see it;
• ask us to correct wrong or incomplete data;
• ask us to delete it, restrict its processing or object to it;
• withdraw consent you have given;
• file a complaint as the law provides.

To use these rights, contact us through any channel on our contact page. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

How we protect data

• Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
• Only staff who need it can see customer data, through role-based accounts.
• IP addresses are stored only as hashes.

When this policy changes, we update this page and the "Updated" date at the top.
